Welcome to the 72 members who have subscribed to this newsletter. Looking forward to your active participation and value addition to the topics shared on this blog. Let’s learn together!!
In my preparation schedule, I allot Saturday for revising all that has been studied through the week. So let’s do the same with the articles that you have received this week.
The objective of this blog is to curate the best resources related to Public Administration and make them available to proactive aspirants who wish to excel in their exams. If you know of any other aspirants who are consistently writing answers, share this blog with them. The more diverse our perspectives, the better would be our answers.
So let’s dive into the topics shared this week.
Change and Crises
Impact of Globalisation on Policy Making (Cameo of Minister Jaishankar’s Interview)
Disruptive tech and E-Governance
Delegated Legislation
Role of Theory Y → Staff and Line Orgs
First, we learned about the relationship between Change and Crises in an Organisation. Most aspirants might only write about how change leads to a crisis. The top 1% will also bring in the dimension of how a crisis can also lead to a change.
Second, we read about Globalisation and its impact on National Policy Making. This topic is based on a question asked in 2020. Given in the multiple changes in global politics, we can expect a similar question this year.
Btw, have you watched the Foreign Minister’s criticism of Europe’s outlook towards Asia? The link for the entire video is here.
Third, we read about how the disruptive nature of Information technology is shaping E-Governance. Changes in the private sector are influencing the expectations of the public sector. Amazon began home delivery of products and today citizens are expecting the government to provide home delivery of services.
Fourth, we understood the concept of Delegated Legislation and its safeguards.
Finally, we read about the perception of Staff and Line organisations about each other and explored the role of Theory Y to solve their issues.
If you have reached here, Kudos to your dedication and patience!!
