Hey Satya, I'm currently having hard time with thinker's part unit 2..do you have any recommendations to make it easier..or even making it fun to read?
Studying about thinkers can definitely be hard in the beginning. You can try the following:
1) Make a timeline of all the thinkers in your notes.
2) Study each group of thinkers at once (classical, behavioral etc)
3) You can make a table to compare the similarities and differences between them
To make it more fun, see if you can explain what you have read to someone. You can also try to connect the current day examples to the concepts that they had outlined.
Thinkers will give you the highest return on investment in terms of your efforts. So do them well.
Thank you so much for the suggestions ☺️ 🎈.. I'll defi try them..but one thing I'm confused about how come making a timeline would help when I'm pursuing one group of thinker at a time?
Making a timeline will help you remember which thinker comes after the other. You can do it as and when you finish each thinker.
Many thinkers have based their theories on the criticism of the previous one or expanded the thoughts of an earlier thinker. Timeline helps you to understand the inter-relationship between thinkers and their ideas.
Also, the ideas that the thinkers came up with were in the context of the events that happened in the world. During World War II, Taylor's principles of scientific management helped American industry convert unskilled workers into welders and shipbuilders in 60 to 90 days.
